Supplies

  • White 4 x 4 ceramic tiles. I picked mine up at Lowes for 16c a piece! (This may also possibly be the CHEAPEST project EVER!)
  • Painters tape
  • Multi-surface acrylic paint ( I love the Americana multi-surface in the satin finish)
  • Small felt pads (or a piece of felt)

Steps

  1. Gather your supplies: Some plain ceramic tiles, acrylic paint, a paintbrush, and some felt pads.
  2. Paint away. Let your creativity shine! Paint your tiles in whatever design you desire. Stripes, polka dots, or even a colorful abstract pattern – the sky’s the limit.
  3. Let it dry. Once you’re done painting, set your tiles aside to dry. This is a good time to grab a snack or catch up on your favorite show.
  4. Protect your furniture. Once your tiles are dry, add some felt pads to the bottom of each one. This will protect your furniture from scratches and keep your coasters in place.
