DIY colorful washi tape birds
Are you looking for a fun and creative way to add a little color to your space? Look no further than washi tape birds! These colorful birds are easy to make and can be used to decorate anything from notebooks to walls.
To get started, you will need a few supplies. First, you will need some washi tape in a variety of colors and patterns.
You can find washi tape at most craft stores, or online. You will also need some scissors, a pencil, and a piece of paper or cardstock.
Prepare an outline
Begin by drawing the outline of your bird onto your paper or cardstock. You can make your bird any size or shape that you like. Once you have your bird shape drawn, cut it out with your scissors.
Add colors
Now it’s time to start adding color! Begin by selecting a washi tape color that you like, and carefully apply it to the body of your bird. Be sure to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles as you go. Continue adding tape in different colors and patterns until your bird is completely covered.
Print them out on a letter sized paper. You can print them on sticker paper if you want to put them on walls or cabinets.
Add finishing touches
Once your bird is covered in washi tape, you can add some finishing touches. Use a black marker or pen to add eyes, a beak, and any other details that you like. You can also use additional washi tape to create wings, a tail, or other decorations for your bird.
Once your bird is complete, you can use it to decorate anything you like. Use a piece of double-sided tape to attach your bird to a notebook or planner. Or, use some washi tape to attach your bird to a wall or bulletin board. You can even create a whole flock of birds to display together!
Trim the tape using a scalpel or cutter. Carefully slice off the excess tape and avoid cutting your paper.
And then finish the rest of the bird with different washi patterns.
Try out different colors that work for you. Creating colorful washi tape birds is a fun and easy way to add a pop of color to your space. So why not give it a try? Gather your supplies, and start creating today!
